Arch and Alta’s Original Marriage CertificateBorn Archie Leland Bostic on January 18, 1889 in Holton, Ripley County, Indiana.

However, I hear that if you called Arch by his real first name, that he probably would have smacked you.

Friends Clyde and Arch after coming home from working at Lavelles Foundry in 1920Arch was the fourth and last child born to his parents, Henry Clay Bostic and Phoebe A. Bradshaw. His siblings were John William, Arle E., and Hattie B.

Arch holds daughter Velma and their dog Trixie in September, 1923Arch married Alta Permelia Taylor on November 22, 1914 in Ripley County, Indiana.

The couple had one child: Velma Isadora, born in 1923.
