I enjoy taking photos of the moon.  It’s a challenge to get a great shot, but when I get one, it’s very satisfying.  I feel like I’ve accomplished something awesome, even if it’s just something small.

I’m always shooting for the moon, so to speak.  Most of the time I miss, but at least I try.  I admire myself for that.

Every once in a while I feel creative and want to try something new with photography.  A few years ago I rented a Fisheye lens from my favorite photo shop, Tempe Camera.

When we arrived home after picking up the lens, we encountered a beautiful rainbow right above our home.  I quickly grabbed the Fisheye and mounted it on my camera to try and capture the rainbow.  Amazingly, I was able to capture it completely, as evidenced below.  Andrew started snapping pictures of me snapping pictures of the rainbow.  It’s just one of those random coincidences of timing that tend to fall in my lap now and again.
