My friend Darren said it best…

My inner pyro is saying, “Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!”

Who knew toilet paper could be so much fun?

Where’s the music?
Oct 22nd, 2006 by Jessica

I think I could learn a lot from this girl.  She dances a lot better than I do.  I have to wonder though…  What kind of music is playing in her head?  Obviously she’s dancing to her own little beat.

I’m guessing it’s something like Yes and No by Venus Hum.

“The state of Arizona has the dubious distinction of being the dumbest state in the Union according to an independent research and publishing company in Kansas.”

What the f@#%^! makes people in Kansas so smart?

Voicemail Breakups
Oct 17th, 2006 by Jessica

There’s a new service that allows you to call in sick to your boss, or break up with your boyfriend, without ever speaking to them.  If someone broke up with me over a voicemail, I would be pissed.

This is reminiscent of a Sex and the City episode where Carrie discovers a break-up post-it note after a night of passion with Berger.  People just don’t face reality with any kind of respect or dignity these days.

He could’ve at least hand-delivered it…!

Oct 17th, 2006 by Jessica reported today that Steve Wynn, developer of The Mirage, Bellagio and Wynn Las Vegas has accidentally poked a hole in his $139 million Picasso painting, “La Reve.”

According to the report, his response was, “Oh shit, look what I’ve done. Thank goodness it was me.”  Would he really have billed a client $139,000,000 for ruining his painting?  More so we should ask, to what does the value decrease when a Picasso has a small round hole in it?  Is it now worth $139.00?

Mr. Wynn, if all you can consider is how much this fine work of art costs, then you have no understanding of the value of art.  Do you think that your generous move to release the bidder from the sale of this item will truly resolve the issue?  What if the bidder still wants to buy it?  This art piece symbolizes a movement in art history; not to mention the inspiration for your hotel’s current show, La Reve.  It should be respected for what it is, not for the size of its defect.  Get your head out of the clouds, you filthy rich millionaire!

This brings a whole new meaning to the phrase, “You break it, you bought it.”
