It’s been a while since I’ve posted pictures of the kitties. Here are scenes from today’s napping session. Olly, Cheetoe, Tumbles and Lucky all found it difficult to pay attention to the paparazzi today.
Last weekend, Andrew and I took a road trip with Mom to visit the Four Corners. Along the way, we discovered we weren’t too far from Monument Valley so we drove up to see the sights. It is simply amazing to see all the formations. It’s also incredibly windy and sandy, and by the time we got back to Phoenix my SUV was completely covered in red dirt and neon yellow bug guts. Eww!
For graduation, Andrew surprised me with an awesome gift! He gave me the new Canon Digital Rebel XSi with image stabilization lens. It’s a SWEET camera! Hopefully I’ll have more time to play with it once finals are over. The only problem is that it takes sD memory and a new battery type, so I need to buy new accessories for it. The old camera took Compact Flash (the original Canon Digital Rebel).
Two weeks from today, I’ll be accepting a Master of Science from ASU. I never thought that day would come! It’s been an extraordinary amount of time and effort to complete a Master’s degree in one year. It will be nice when it’s all over.
I do have one complaint. They taught us a lot during each course, about business and strategy and trends in IT. However, they totally and completed failed to teach us how to put on this ridiculous flappy gown and velvet hood. It looks like a straight jacket with a built-in strangler!
