May 20th, 2012 by Jessica

  • There's something wrong with a 10-hour workday that lasts a full 13 hours. 🙁 #
  • Today is my first professional conference presentation. The topic? Using Predictive Analytics in Schedule Optimization for Student Success. #
  • I think my presentation went well. We had 8 participants. Small, but we had lots of good discussion afterwards. #
  • Google training today. I've learned one new thing (did you know Gmail has a lab for canned responses?) And have taught the trainer plenty. #
  • Confession: Growing up, I always wondered why they were called "ring bears." #
  • The Care Bears are coming to The Hub… but they're missing Good Luck Bear! #whatashame #
  • It's 106 degrees outside. I guess that means summer is here. #
  • Lunch at Rudy's Bar-b-que in Chandler was delicious! Turkey and pulled pork, cream corn, bottled Coke… Super yum! #
  • Looked at more new cars today. Still can't decide between the Mercedes ML350, the GMC Acadia Denali and the new 2013 GMC Terrain Denali. #
  • Yaaaaaawwwwwwwwwn! #
  • I finally found the 1855 New York Census entries for Abner Green and his father Parley Green. Now it's time to dig deeper! #genealogy #
  • Remote start in our Honda Fit with the air conditioning set at full blast makes shopping in 105 degrees slightly more bearable. #
  • Lunch at Boombozz Pizza was really good. Pretzel bread, yum! Fresh garlic, ham and green olives make a great pizza! #
