Twitter Weekly Updates for 2012-03-18
March 18th, 2012 by Jessica

  • My cousin sent me a link to the 1839 marriage record for my 3rd great-grandparents, Samuel M. Fisher & Susannah Hale. #
  • I managed to get my inbox down to 8 items that require responses, 5 of which are in Polish. Those take longer to translate and respond to. #
  • I love sending away for records in the mail until I'm faced with a giant stack of info to scan, source & file properly. #
  • Stack tackled! All incoming correspondence has been scanned, sourced, filed and even blogged about. Woot! I feel so accomplished. #
  • Google Mail has a new Labs widget that auto-translates foreign language emails. #ilovegoogle #
  • I ordered a board game on Amazon this morning, and it was waiting on the porch when I got home from work. #ilovelocalexpressdelivery #
  • 18 people brought in pies for Pi Day at work today. I can't wait for 1:30! #
  • I just submitted a FOIA request to see if my grandfather has an FBI file. #ilovegenealogy #
  • I'm in Sewing 101 class with two preteen girls. #embarassed #
  • I put thread into fabric… #itsamiracle #
  • Thanks, GMC, for announcing the 2013 Terrain Denali today. Now I know exactly what my next car will be! #
  • It's 7am on the first day of Spring Break, and I'm at the dentist. There's something very wrong with this scenario. #
  • Our spring flowers are starting to fill in the flower bed. They smell so sweet! #
  • FamilySearch Indexing seems to be having technical difficulties. I've tried to d/l 8 diff batches and I keep getting errors messages. #
  • I'm eagerly anticipating the response from the Kansas State Archives. She said she would email me today about prisoner Walter Drafts. #
  • I finally found my grandpa Walter Dreffs in the 1930 Census. He was serving 13 months in Leavenworth Prison for bootlegging! #
