One more quick note about the replacement card. The game version I bought was from Australia, but the replacement card came from England. The cards are different! The one from Australia just says “Debit” on the front, while the English card actually has the “Visa” logo printed on it in the bottom right-hand corner.

Update: I emailed Hasbro UK and asked them for a replacement card #6. They sent it to me, no questions asked, in about 2 weeks. Now that’s some serious customer service I rarely see here in the States. Way to go, Hasbro UK!

Man! I so want that version of the game. hah. I actually got the US version but was so disapointed Target didn’t care the electornic british version. Sigh. Perhaps i will never get one but i’m not going to give up my hunt to try to order a ‘replacement’ atm machine and debit cards.

i purchased the new edition of monopoly which requires a credit card and my family and i absolutly love it, greatest purchase. then again. we are avid monopoly players

We would LOVE to! Sue and I both love to play, but it’s not much fun with just 2 people, and our friends refuse to play with us because we always want to play a COMPLETE game – until someone actually wins. I like to start a game… go do something else… come back and play some more… It can last a whole weekend if you do it right.
