Well folks, this is it. This is my final Wilton cake. I’ve taken all three courses and completed all of the lessons. This final cake is chocolate fudge with buttercream vanilla icing and covered in fondant roses and leaves. Everything is edible except the pillars and the cake plates (those are plastic).

And of course, the mandatory cheesiness:

This cake took me about 22 hours to complete. Andrew helped out a lot (thanks hun) and I’m sure the guys at work will love to gobble it up. Time for bed. I’m really sick of fondant roses. They don’t even taste good.

OH! MY GAWD!
Now THAT is a good looking cake! What’s the next thing you’re going to master? Underwater basket weaving?
LOL you two! Hmm the next thing… I was thinking of going for my Cisco networking certification. Of course I could go for the Linux Administration cert. Both of those would help me in my new job! Free classes are a *very* nice perk.
Very pretty!!
okay i am pissed – when you said guys from work you didnt mean the guys from ANDREW’S WORK..
Very impressive.
Sorry guys! I’ll try to bake one for you again soon. Any particular flavor you’d like?
I like white cake
Can have really any kind of icing.
Jessica, these cakes are absolutely beautiful! Can you freeze them like a layer of wedding cake? I wish you COULD dole them out to the blogasphere, I’d be here with my paper plate every day, lol! Although they are way too pretty to eat, but I’d make do…
Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving a hug. It’s hard to lose a best friend and hugs are much needed and appreciated. (((Thank you!)))
